The County Route 109 Study is a joint project among the Town of Clifton Park, Town of Halfmoon, and Saratoga County to look at the Saratoga County Route 109 Corridor which began in 2025 with an estimated completion date of Summer 2026. The study area includes the entirety of Kinns Road in Clifton Park, easterly across Rt 9 and heading east into Halfmoon on Farm to Market Road. The Capital Region Transportation Council (CRTC) provided significant funding for this project totaling $150,000 for consultants, Creighton Manning, with local match from each of the municipal entities. The first study advisory committee meeting was held on July 24, 2025. The team is assembling existing conditions data, and is preparing the public involvement plan.
This meeting was structured as an in-person, open-house style meeting.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Study, identify transportation safety issues, recommend changes to improve connectivity and accessibility along County Route 109, and meet with the project team
